I always do. it makes a better job and easier,then just a touch up after cabinets are installed.

Are you saying to paint the kitchen walls first?? The cabinets are already installed.....I am just going to repaint them a different color. Thanks

in that case it really doesn't matter.but I would paint the walls first just in case you get paint on the cabinets.
