I am replacing my carpet with laminant flooring. I pulled the carpet up already. Should I also pull the trim/baseboard?? I notice the laminant fits under it just fine as it is.

I would install the new laminate just short of the base trim then use a 1/4 round trim on top of the laminate to the existing base trim..

One would think what you have would be fine but it will really make so much more work for you. Not to mention once you have the floor inserted under one side you wont be able to insert it under the opposite side...
