hello,
I have a 4 jet bathtub we usually just use the tub for baths.
The other night I decided to use the whrilpool jets and black gook
came out of the jets.What is it mildew ot what how do I get rid of it, I had to get out of the tub and use the shower, help

Yuk, yes that's mold. A good way to fix that is fill the tube enough that the jets are covered and use a bleach mixture and let it run for awhile. I would recommend consulting the manufacture on what chemical they recommend.
