How to install laminate flooring video

Laminate flooring is so nice and so easy to install. The very first thing you need to do is clean that floor. The last thing you want to do is leave something behind. So make sure you pick up everything. Even the littlest piece of dirt or stone from your shoes will make you nuts. It's nice to put the floor down the first time but it sticks having to pull it back up if you discover you left something behind. After you cleaned the floor you will want to lay down the [[laminate padding]]. Padding usually comes in three foot wide, I like to only lay down two courses at a time. Other wise you risk the chance of damaging it as you work.

Do you have a old house

Do you have an old house or even a new one that needs repair and you want to

"do it your self". Well that's why I created this web site. As a general contractor

I want to help you answer your questions about fixing up that old house.

You can ask me anything you need to know about. I'll reply to you the

same day. What's in it for me, nothing except the joy of helping you.

So go ahead and ask away. Just remember I'm a real working contractor,

this is how I make my living, building new houses and fixing up old

houses for people all  day long and have been for about 25 years.

Think of me as your own general contractor that you can ask how

do I do that questions for free. And for those of you that ask, yes I do travel

around the states helping people with bigger projects once in a while.

outsidelight.jpgHow to change a light video

This is a very basic video just showing you how to replace a outside light. I really just cover the basics of the electrical wiring. Always make sure the power is off, even if you have to turn all the breakers off. Better safe  then sorry.

Kitchen sinks

User Rating: / 0

When I'm remodeling a kitchen  I see that many home owners don't know the difference's
of stainless steel sinks. Well first off there is something called gauge, gauge is
referring to how thick that sink is. Don't look at it as in strength, look at it as
in noise. That tinny sound you get when you drop a fork in it. Not to mention the
thicker the better. The lower the gauge number the thicker the steal is.
