A must read for the do it your selfer In this DIY video I'll show you how to use a circular saw while cutting plywood. How to handle those nasty splinters plywood can get like from cutting against the grain.
One of those cheap blades do not have these carbide tips and just use the steel of the blade. This makes a very poor cut and will not last more then a few hard cuts. Now if your cutting plywood you will most certainly want to use a "plywood" blade. These blades have more teeth and are designed to cross cut witch means to you, a lot less splinters. If your not sure what blade to buy just ask the sales person they should be able to help you. If not you can always use a combination blade, these blades are designed to cut just about anything, just not as good as a specialty blade.

These are just so many blades made for the circular saw today. Think of this way, if it can be cut, they make a circular saw blade that will cut it. A very important thing to remember when buying a blade. No matter if you going to use it just a few times always buy a carbide blade. Carbide blades have little harden steel tips as the actual cutting edge.
