All about concrete

What is concrete?
Concrete is a mixture of cement, water, sand and gravel (stones, crushed rock). The mixture eventually hardens like a rock....

The first thing to know is concrete is concrete and Mortar is mortar. Here's the difference.

Concrete, Concrete has stones in it and is used for thick jobs like side walks to foundations and adds more strength.

Mortar, mortar is concrete without the stone. You would use mortar for patching or applying a stucco finish on a foundation wall. Or other similar repairs.

All have sand and lime in them, the sand also helps make it stronger. The lime is the harder in both concrete and mortar.
