Hi Dom, I got a Problem! Ok I had my Hot Water Heater replaced, a new spicket (for an out side hose. OK ! My problem is my PIPES make noise when the water is on & toilet flushing. A noise I cannot explain. BUT IT IS NOT NORMAL. Please give me some input , to fix my PROBLEM.Thank You so much Dominick.. Well I hope to hear back from you. Happy New Years Dom. Anne
Well the outside faucet for the most part should have nothing to do with it. And a toilet uses cold water, 99.9% of then at least. I would check to make sure that all the water valves supplying the water to the heater as well as the hot water supply are opened up all the way.
Try to explain the sound if you can. Is it like a screaming sound at all. If so then it sounds like water may be being restricted and that's why I talk about the valve.
i was wondering if you had a video or instructions on replacing a kitchen garbage disposal. thanks for a great site. my 15 year old daughter and i used your instructions for installing laminate flooring last summer and we had no problems at all thanks to you!
Hi Cathy. Thank you for asking however I do not have this video just yet. All my videos are the real deal and i haven't had anyone ask for one to be installed. If you live in the NY, NJ, PA area perhaps I can make the video of yours...
hi dominick, when my heat is on i hear like banging noise in the pipes is it normal.I have gas boiler. Also second problem when upstairs shower is on at first u hear a sound like if it's too much pressure and when i turn off the water u heard like a bang. I have the same problem with mytoilet upstairs when the tank is filled u hear the noise, i lower the water flow at the toilet valve that goes to the tank and the noise lessen. could u please help....i've learn a lot from your videos and also where are you located....pete i'm in nj
Hi Pete. At first just reading about your boiler I would say it's has air in the system. On the boiler you have a expansion tank that can also have a lot to do with banging pipes for your heat. However since you're having other issues. If you have well water you would or should have a pressure tank in the main water line. So, do you have well water ? I live right on the NY,NJ boarder..
For the most part you have to open a spicket valve located within each zone to remove the air, a little at a time. However there are many other things to do as well and to check before hand. One, you should have a bleeder valve and this should be cracked open just a little bit. If you could send me some pictures of your system I can give you a much better idea. As well were exspecting a lot of snow tomorrow so I'll be stuck home all day and it would make a great day to make that video if I can.
More then likely it's either your hot water supply valve, suppy line or even something stuck in your faucet. Dissconnect the supply line at the faucet and see how much water comes out in a bucket.
OK, so then you would have a pressure valve. Two things. check and make sure you have hot water in the bathroom sink. But I'm sure you would know this already. Sounds like you may have something stuck in the valve it self. So you would need to turn all water off and pull the front apart and clean. Once the valve is apart and cleaned have someone just turn the water on a little bit, one at a time. Making sure that the hot water does come out. Or you could just have a bad valve.
Happy New Years Dom. Anne

Is this noise new with the new heater ?
Happy New Year to you do.

Hello Dominick, I have extremely low hot water presure going to my kitchen faucett. What could be the problem? Thanks Rob

How can i install a water treament with a better chemicals for purification, cleans the colour taste amd ordor. thanks from noel.
What you're looking to install would be a carbon filter for the odor or if you have sulfer you would need a special remover for that.
The best thing for you to do is have the water tested to see what you have in your water then go from there. That's the best bet.
How old is your house, or diverter valve ?
The house is three years old , as well as diverter.
