Let me start by saying that it's not easy and it's not hard to tape.  Its actually easy to tape, but not easy to make the taping look professional.  The best tip I can give you is to know that you should never ever, and I mean never ever sand until you are done with all of your taping.  By done, I mean no more coats of spackle, and the job looks good.
