Bed 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago
How would I go about changing a bed that was bought stating it was a platform and then when it came, I was told it wasn't and I needed a box spring, it has slats, headboard, footboard and rails on each side. Is it possible to convert the bed to a platform? I like the bed itself

Sure that's easy. I converted a few of these myself for a few older people because they needed their bed to be lower.

In this case you have the slats which is great for a box spring but not just a mattress. So you will need install 1/2 or thicker plywood over the top of slats. Now depending on how many slats you have you may want to add more of them. But of course depending on your bed it may look funny because the rest of the bed will keep it's height, or it could look neat.
