Have you ever noticed how your water just doesn't come out like it used to?

In this video, I'll show you how to fix it.  Chances are, that the faucet aerator is plugged up with something.  This can be due to deposits from hard water or just dirt in the water.  The aerator screws on to the end of most kitchen and bathroom faucets.  The aerator lets air into the stream of water, thus aerating it.  You just need to unscrew it and off it comes. You need to take it apart to clean the dirt out of the screen and other little parts.  The trick is to make sure that you put it together the same way you took it apart.  Now, done!  Simple, and now you should have better water flow. If you're looking straight down on top of your faucet you turn it to the right (clockwise) to remove it.

Please, if you feel you need help with cleaning your kitchen or bathroom faucet aerator, please just ask me.  That's why I created this site...

We replaced the aerator on the kitchen faucet, it has a separate sprayer and separate one handle to turn on and off, now it doesn't turn off immediately, but it used to. How do we correct this. It is a Moen faucet and is a few years old.

Thank you

That is very strange. Try removing the aerator and see if that helps. I can only think that the new one is creating to much back pressure. But even that seems silly.
