outdoor flood lights

Please briefly explain why you feel this question should be reported.

I have two outdoor flood lights on a switch that I can control from two locations.  I want to install motion sensor lights. Do I have to replace both lights with motion control lights and if so will they work independently.  I am assuming that the light switch will have to be always on?  Is there a way that I can manually control the lights as well?  Thanks.

    Yes there is, however that would require you running new wires from each light. I have something similar. I just installed two motion lights. And yes the switch will have to stay on.
