Hello, my husband installed a skylight and ended up leaving a big part of the wood completely exposed. I have a feeling this is a diy gone wrong. Would you mind telling me if having exposed wood on the roof is okay or not? I have included an image for you.

    From that picture it’s kinda hard to see. However no matter what you should never have bare wood exposed.
