In this video, I explain the easy-to-understand ways to repair nail pops in sheetrock and nail holes.
Lots of people overwork when covering nail or screw pops. Way before you just try to cover them up you’ll need to make sure that nail is back into the stud. It could just be that the nail or screw was never put in the wood well. Or was right on the edge not allowing it to be really secure.

Simple, just install another nail or screw right next to the old one. In most cases, you’ll be able to place the head of the new nail right over the existing one. Once you have a nice dimple you’re ready to cover with a single coat of joint compound “spackle”.
