Many of us make the assumption that a clogged drain needs something like Drano or one of those very harsh chemicals to clean out the drain. Where in fact, you never need those chemicals. In this video, you’ll see that I’m only using a piece of wire to get down inside the drain and I was able to remove a whole lot of hair. If you’re one of those people with hair (I’m bald) LOL, then chances are this is where the hair gets stuck right before it goes all the way down. Some strainers have a single screw or it may be just pressed in. Either way, you just need a little butter knife or a small screwdriver to remove the strainer.
