Just installed a weil-mclain Series2 CGA 70/50 natural 4″ draft boiler, I’m looking to start it up….. Question, how to pressure test it before I fill the system back-up at what pressure without messing up the expansion tank , what temp do I set it at on the mother board and pressure for a two story row home in Philly and the economy adjust dial ? Thanks

Just turn the water supply on. The regulator won’t let it take more than it needs. Boiler temp should be about 180-190, psi should be about 16-19. You could fill the system with air using a compressure and some made up adapters.
