Sometimes our toilet won’t flush but it doesn’t seem to be clogged. I went outside and pulled the pvc toilet vent apart to see if something was stuck in it and there wasn’t. I noticed that the pvc elbow going into the ground wasn’t secured, just sitting on top of the peice that goes into the ground. After I disassembled the pipes, I went into the house to flush the toilet and it worked fine.

So, is it not flushing because that pvc pipe wasn’t glued together?
