Hi there,
I’m ready to install an electrical box plus wire to hang a light fixture over our dinning table. The closest power source is a single 3-way light switch. I will be replacing the switch box to accommodate two switches. Do you have a video or diagram illustrating how to pull power from the current light switch (connecting the wires that is)? I believe I know how to connect them, but I just want a second opinion. Thank you for your time!

I do and I don’t. It’s going to really depend on what side of the 3-way circuit you’re working with and how it was wired. Some are wired with light (load) on one side and power (source) on the other.
You’ll need to check that out first to determine what you have.
