I have a remote to a secret door In my room. If I solder wires from the button and connect them it actives like I want. I need a way so that when I plug a device into a wall it completes the circuit and actives the door. I have a 12v relay but I don’t want any power going into the remote. I just want it to touch the wires together and open the door. Any ideas

Very simple. However, you’ll need a device that is shorted to give you a 0 ohms between the two wires and then connected to the relay to complete the circuit.
