Dear Dominic,
I would like to improve my outdoor walkway lighting, by adding motion detectors instead of a timer.
I was considering replacing a 3-way light switch layout with motion detection sensors instead of the switch. However, logic tells me that this outdoor LV concept won’t work this way because the other end of the landscape wire is a dead end and not a closed circuit.
Can this be done? Also, could I add a manual indoor traditional master power switch at the front end of it all?
looking forward to figuring this out. thanks…Coach Kevin www.thehometownallstars.com

The best way to install a motion sensor would be to leave the switch on and install the motion sensor in the stream. Beginning of the circuit. And outside of course.
