3 way switch with pilot light

Question

Dom,

How do you wire a Slater 685, 3 way switch with pilot light?  This switch is used with another 3 way switch without a pilot light.  On the 685, with the toggle on the bottom, on the lower left there 2 screws and one on the other (right) side of the toggle.  There is one screw on both sides of the pilot light on the top of the switch.  I have 2 black wires with one being the common, 1 red wire, and 2 white wires at the box. Can you tell the correct wires to be attached to the appropriate screws?

Thank you.

  1. Hi, no not at all, You’ll have to test and search them out one by one. Then watch my video how to install a three way.
