Hello,
I’m adding a new water heater to my home in NC. What type wire would you recomend? Also I’m adding a new 220v service and breaker for this heater. I’ve reviewed your video on adding a 22oV breaker, very helpful. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions before I start?
Thanks for the videos, I’ve enjoyed them and found them very helpful.

Most 40 to 50 gallon hot water heater’s are going to use a number 10 wire with a 30 amp breaker also depending upon how far your hot water heater is from the service panel I would recommend putting a twin pole switch next to the hot water heater .
