I’m wanting to install an additional sub panel in my garage. I will be running wire for the additional sub panel from one side to the other, about 50 feet. I want to use this new sub panel for a welder requiring 50 amps, and Two additional 20 amp circuits. I used the wire size calculator you listed, looks like the #6 gauge wire between the sub panels is adequate. I am planning on installing a 50 amp breaker in the existing source sub panel, then installing a 50 amp breaker and two 20 amp breakers in the new sub panel. Do I have this right, any guidance?
