Please see photo - does anyone know a fix for this issue?  The fascia board extends and is not protected by the gutter so rain water runs down the exposed board.  Is there a cap for this?

I have have a hook and eye orbital sander. My problem is that the sanding disc come flying off after a few minutes. Is there anything I can do to increase the duration the discs are in place ?
