Please briefly explain why you feel this question should be reported.

Trying to fit a blind above a kitchen window, Drill only goes in 1 cm before stopping

Think a lintel may be in the way but have tried 2 cm and 8 cm above bottom of the top of the window, And still hitting something

    I`ve got round the problem by drilling way above the window and it seems to have gone straight into brick this time deep enough to get rawlplugs and screws to fit.

    Hey, It may look a bit crappy and odd but I`m happy with the end result, It keeps the sun out.
