Thank you for your response, the window are in excellent shape and I thought the new space could be built to fit those same size windows. I just hate to waste them. The contractor said something about the windows being purchased for an existing space. Don’t quite understand what difference it makes, why you can measure out the new window space to fit them in?

There could be many reasons. Old window may not meet egress for one.
