I am installing new 115v /12,000 btu window air conditioner in wall next to my refrigerator. Can both units be plugged into the same 115v outlet without overloading it? The kitchen also appears to have a 20 amp dedicated line going from sub-panel in garage to a 230v electric oven plug, but I was afraid to try and use that somehow stepping down line to a 115v for A/C unit.
BTW…This is in a separate granny flat that is adjoining the main house.
Thank you for reply!

It really depends on the refrigerator size and if it’s on at the same time. however I doesn’t really sound like it will be an issue. But of course I really can’t say for sure.
