Wiring a half Switch Outlet 3 way

in my living room a have 2 3 way switch that control the outlet of course each one on each side of the living room but something is wrong I cant get it right it supposes to turn on and off doesnt matter what side of the room u are but its not working that way sometimes I need to go all the way to the other room to turn it off or on, please help me

so the outlet is one hot all the time and the other outlet control by the switches

hoping u understand what I mean and u can help me

the problem the wires are really old and the same color jajja so its harder to figure it out

  • If you say sometimes that would make me think that it’s a bad old switch. I would replace them.
