30a 3-wire to 4-wire using a GFCI spa panel

Hello Dominik,

I am building a brewing control panel.  I want to have GFCI so I don’t kill myself.  So called Experts have posted the following on one of the brewing forums and I need to know if this is correct or not?

    First off. You’ll to come from a 50 to be able to go to a 50 amp. The panel will also need a ground. And what’s up with that jumper from the neutral to the ground?
