I had a through the wall Trane AC/Heat pump(24 yrs old) plugged into a 5-20p wall receptacle. It died so I ordered an Amana AC/Heat pump. It will need to have a 6-20p wall receptacle. I know it’s a 240V while the old 5-20p was 125 volt. What changes will I need to make at the Fuse panel as well as the receptacle to make it work?

Run a new line. I won’t advise anyone on here how to convert a line from 220 to 120 or the other way around on the fear one little oversight you’ll burn something up big time. Sorry.
