I need an extra outlet in my basement because theres only 1 GFI outlet. My plan was to just add a 20a breaker and put the 2 gang metal 20amp outlet boxes in my basement. The GFI is running off of a 15a breaker. I just need some opinions because I have 12 awg wire and both of my 20a outlets and my 2 gang metal boxes cause I want both of my outlets right next to each other. I’m not sure how I would connect both of the outlets inside the metal box.

    You would just pigtail off of the outlet that now has the wires going to it. It’s that simple.
