In this video, I explain the easy to understand ways to repair nail pops in sheet rock and nail holes.
Lot’s of people over work when covering nail or screw pops. Way before you just try to cover them up you’ll need to make sure that nail is back into the stud. It could just be that the nail or screw was never put in the wood good. Or was right on the edge not allowing it to be really secured.
Simple, just install another nail or screw right next to the old one. In most cases you’ll be able to place the head of the new nail right over the existing one. Once you have a nice dimple you’re ready to cover with a single coat of joint compound “spackle”.
