hi Dominic

i installed a 3 way dimmer switch in my dining room and now a ceiling light/fan goes on and off intermittently. When I shut the breaker off the dining room power is cut but not the fan/light which leads me to believe they aren’t on the same circuit.  Is that correct? Can the 3 way dimmer be causing the fan/light to intermittently turn on and off??? Please help!

    Sounds like something is wrong with the dimmer switch. Try replacing it back. As far as there still being power, yes that can be. But first let’s try replacing the switch.
