I wish to pour a small concrete slab around 4 inches thick to cover this tiled area and act as a step in this wash house. Do I need to remove the tiles or can I just patch up the holes on the sides using wood and cover the tiles with concrete?
Polyfilla has been used to patch up the front of the step. I could remove the tiles and try to remove the polyfilla and put a wooden framing on the front edge and pour?
Thanks so much for any help

Just as long as the existing tiles don’t move you should be fine by going right over them as long as you stay thick as you say, 4″
