Hi,

I wish to pour a small concrete slab around 4 inches thick to cover this tiled area and act as a step in this wash house. Do I need to remove the tiles or can I just patch up the holes on the sides using wood and cover the tiles with concrete?

Polyfilla has been used to patch up the front of the step. I could remove the tiles and try to remove the polyfilla and put a wooden framing on the front edge and pour?
