This may be the stupidest question you’ve heard:
Regarding your video about creating a shower pan so you can then tile it and the shower – you laid down the tar paper and the mesh wire screen then stapled the screen to the subfloor. What if I am planning on doing this in my basement where the floor is my foundation/concrete? What do I do differently since I cannot fix the mesh to the floor? Do I skip that step?

Amelia, first off I have had this site for nearly 9 years now. Trust me, far from the stupidest question by far.
Yes you would just skip the staples into the concrete.
